One thing DC seems to get right is voter registration. It’s incredibly easy and can be done either online or at the poll on November 4th.
First, you can check if you are already registered by CLICKING HERE. If you’ve recently moved, you can update your registered address using that same link.
If you’ve never registered to vote in DC, you can do so online by CLICKING HERE.
If you’d like to register to at the poll on election day (2B09 residents vote at the Reeves Center) you will need to complete a voter registration application, swear or affirm that you are a qualified elector, and provide valid proof of residence. Valid proof of residence is either a copy of a current and valid government photo identification, or a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or other government document that shows the name and address of the voter.
For more information on registering to vote, voting absentee, or voting early, as well as answers to Frequently Asked Questions, head to the DC Board of Elections website.
