The Dupont, U Street and Columbia Heights ANCs, along with Ward 1 Councilmember Brianne Nadeau are hosting a community forum on crime prevention coupled with free neighborhood watch training. This exciting and collaborative event will let you meet your local police and public safety officials, discuss the most pressing public safety concerns and learn more about how to prevent crime in your neighborhood. The effort is being led by the Public Safety Committee of the U Street ANC (1B) and Commissioner John Green.
Please join us to learn how to protect yourself, your family and property, while also studying criminal behaviors that can help your neighborhood be safer this summer. Bring questions and concerns for MPD officials and agencies that work everyday on public safety matters in the District of Columbia.
WHEN: Saturday, June 6, 11:30am – 2:30pm
WHERE: Cardozo Education Campus - 1200 Clifton St NW – Third Floor Lecture Hall
WHO: Intended for all DC residents and business (particularly in Wards 1 & 2)
More information on the agenda and guest speakers is available after the jump.
