On Tuesday, January 2nd, I was sworn in as the Neighborhood Commissioner for 2B09. It was great to have all of the ANC Commissioners from across the city, as well as the Mayor, our City Council Members and School Board Members together for the event.
In the next two years, I hope to focus on several priorities for the neighborhood. These include contuning my work on public safety and improving our pedestrian and biking infrastructure throughout the area. I also hope to focus on a comprehensive plan to improve parking availability for residents and intend to work with our neighboring ANCs on a range of issues that don't stop at the bounderies of our district. I will continue to build strong relationships with DC agencies and organizations to make sure city services are responsive to our concerns.
